We were beyond honored to be a part of Celeste and Jacob’s wedding day. When we were asked to be a part of such a fun and special day we immediately said yes knowing their wedding was going to be full of Aloha. As body boarders ourselves, Jacob has been a huge inspiration. For as long as Reis can remember he used to watch videos of Jacob Romero bodyboarding. This was back in the days when he didn’t have a beard and was a team rider for turbo. SO one of Reis’ first boards was a Romero Turbo because he thought it would make him ride like Jacob. Haha! Reis had been photographing Jacob ever since he began photography, so it was an incredible experience to have documented his big day.
And now for Celeste, for only knowing her a short amount of time she is also someone to look up to. She was so loving and thankful for everything making sure everyone was happy. Celeste and Jacob are one of those couples that make you believe in true love, the everlasting kind. It was so touching how they looked into each other’s eyes and made one another smile, letting their emotions run free. Both Jacob and Celeste’s smiles were truly contagious.
The Kamehameha Golf Course made for a beautiful location and gave us an incredible view of the rest of the island. Not only was the location beautiful, so were the haku lei’s Celeste and the cute flower girls wore. Which by the way Celeste handmade them the morning of! The reception felt like one big family reunion. Everyone was so kind and so happy for the newly-weds and made us even feel more than just the photographers, they made us feel like family. Celeste and Jacob’s friends and family are so very blessed just as they have blessed them. We are truly so happy for the new Mr. & Mrs. Romero! We cannot possibly wait to see where their future brings them because Reis and I know it will be so bright and full of love and happiness. Keep inspiring others and we will forever look up to you both!
