Haily and Jordan's Kauai Wedding

Although we mainly photograph weddings on Oahu, we love to travel to different islands too! Photographing a destination wedding is always so much fun. A big part our lives is traveling so being able to give an amazing experience and capturing moments that are so new to our clients is such a great feeling. Haily and Jordan were such a fun and easy going couple to work with. They traveled with family and friends from Washington to our warm sun kissed beaches of Kaua’i. The island of Kaua’i is a very relaxed island which was perfect for their special day! This wedding came with a lot of “firsts”! When Haily and Jordan brought up that they wanted to have a morning wedding Reis and I instantly started writing down ideas (we were very excited). Even though a morning wedding calls for a 4 o’clock start time, the beautiful first look portraits at sunrise were so worth it! The dreamy Hawaiian sky granted us beautiful pink and blue pastels that made Haily and Jordans portraits absolutely breathtaking. Haily and Jordan’s wedding was a small wedding that truly focused on the priorities of the life: Family, Friends, and Each other. The wedding was simple, but so incredibly beautiful. After the breakfast Reception, Haily and Jordan’s family was so incredibly inviting to both Reis and I, they invited us and everyone else back to their condo for lunch and games. Their family is the sweetest family and did not hesitate to make us feel like a part of the family. The day was filled with laughs, good conversation, and good company! When it was time to say goodbye, we must have said goodbye at least 5 times and didn't leave until 40 minutes after our first goodbye. Andrew + Nicole's Underwater Engagement

Being an ocean lover, Reis has always been dreaming and hoping for an underwater portrait session...so when we linked up with Nicole and Andrew you could imagine how excited he was! Living in Hawaii, the ocean is a big part of our lives. It is a lifestyle. Nicole and Andrew have been living on the island of Oahu and were soon to be moving to California. Before they left they wanted photos that captured the beautiful blue waters they both spent a great deal of time in. Nicole and Andrew were such a fun couple to shoot in the water and such a joy to work with! They kept their spirits up when they felt like they looked silly and overall had a good time. It is so refreshing when our clients put in the effort to make their portraits unique; especially when we give them the same photos the envisioned! Cindy + Jason at Loulou Palm Estate

Cindy and Jason traveled to Oahu from South Korea to walk down the aisle and say their vows. It was a beautiful day at the Loulu Palm Estate on the North Shore with blue skies and the salty breeze. The first time Bronte and I met the fun couple we knew it was going to be a great day and an enjoyable wedding to photograph. When Cindy and Jason described the kind of photos they were looking for, we were immediately excited and knew this was the right fit! Of course, their Hawai’i wedding would not be complete without a sunset portrait session on a nearby beach located on the estate! It was the first time Cindy and Jason were alone together the whole day and our goal is to always capture the intimate and sweet moments. After being splashed by a wave, the couple decided to take the opportunity to have fun and play in the small surf! It was so great and fun to work with Cindy and Jason on making their day as perfect as possible.
